Bishop has shown improvement with the groin tear that hobbled him through most of the Stanley Cup Finals and will begin his offseason workouts Monday, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Bishop suggested that the media overhyped his injury during the series against the Blackhawks, as he never suffered a complete tear, though it might have compromised his play nonetheless in Game 5 and 6. Regardless, Bishop seems like he's on track to be ready for the start of training camp in September, when he'll enter the season as one of the top fantasy options in goal. Over his last two regular seasons, Bishop has amassed a 77-27-12 record to go along with nine shutouts.
