Thompson will be making his eighth straight appearance for the club having gone 3-3-0 with a 2.97 GAA. The 25-year-old netminder should continue to see a heavy workload moving forward with Robin Lehner (lower body) and Laurent Brossoit (undisclosed) sidelined with injuries. Once one of those two is cleared to play, Thompson figures to be relegated to the backup job.
