The lack of offense isn't surprising -- Rutta isn't known for those skills. He does continue to provide modest totals in secondary categories (15 each, hits and blocks) in that same span. Rutta is best left on the wire in virtually all formats, as he's a better on-ice guy than a fantasy play.
