Benoit Pouliot didn't get a qualifying offer from the Montreal Canadiens on Monday. He will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 as a result. Pouliot recorded 13 goals and 17 assists in 79 games with Montreal this past season, but he appeared in just three playoff contests after being relegated to the press box as a healthy scratch. He'll be looking for another team on Friday along with defenseman Alexandre Picard and forward Tom Pyatt after they weren't tendered qualifying offers from the Canadiens either.
