Benn (hip) is on the ice for the Monday afternoon scrimmage, Mark Stepneski of NHL.com reports.

Benn had surgery on both hips last April, so it's highly encouraging that the NHL's point leader (35 goals, 52 assists) from last year has been able to take to the ice so early in camp. The Stars will undoubtedly keep a hawk's eye on their prized center ahead of the regular-season.
