Jarry made 25 saves in a 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
He was at Auston Matthews' mercy on a breakaway just 21 seconds into the game, and things unravelled a bit from there. Jarry was then beaten on the power play on a Bobby Orr-esque end-to-end rush by Morgan Rielly in the second, and then late that period by David Kampf on a two-on-one shorthanded. Michael Bunting sealed the scoring early in the third on a backhander. Jarry had won two straight prior to Thursday and is 6-2-2 in his last 10 starts, dating back to Jan. 17. However, the last six have been a bit of a seesaw, with a 2-2-2 record and four goals allowed in three of those six starts. We're not saying it's a specific trend, but Jarry could be a little tired from all the work he's been doing.
