Beat writer Michael Russo believes Devin Setoguchi could be traded after the Wild acquired former first-round pick Nino Niederreiter over the weekend. The Wild acquired Niederreiter from the Islanders, who gave up on the former No. 5 overall pick after the two sides disagreed on the next step in his development this past season. Setoguchi has a $3 million cap hit, which is particularly prohibitive for a Minnesota team that is close to the $64.3 million cap ceiling and would still like to add a piece or two this offseason. Setoguchi had 13 goals and 27 points in 48 games this season.
