Barbashev appeared in 12 contests during his first stint in an NHL lineup and logged two goals and one assist in 10:53 of ice time. Not bad for the second-round pick out of the QMJHL. The 21-year-old returns to the AHL where he has managed 37 points in 45 outings this year. Given his raw scoring talent, the center may be worth keeping an eye on, or even stashing, in deeper dynasty/keeper leagues.
