Bailey picked up two assists in Saturday's shootout defeat to the Sabres. Bailey saw only 13:14 of action Saturday, but with most of it coming on the top line with Kyle Okposo and John Tavares, he was able to make good use of it. The Islanders have tried out a number of players at the left wing spot on the top line this season, but coach Jack Capuano has yet to permanently settle on a player. Bailey's performance Saturday would seemingly aid his chances at getting a longer look in the role.
