Bailey opened the scoring with an unassisted goal and helped out on a John Tavares tally in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Detroit. He finished plus-2 with two PIM and three shots.
EDGE Analysis
Bailey strung together a spectacular hot streak from mid-January into early February, ripping off 14 points in a span of 12 games. However, he'd gone cold since then, including just one point in seven games coming into Tuesday's action. Nonetheless, he continues to see heavy ice time (including on the power play), which certainly helps with breaking slumps, and playing alongside Tavares certainly never hurt anyone.
