Backstrom stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced in relief of Darcy Kuemper in Saturday's overtime loss to the Predators. Not a bad outing for Backstrom, who is now 5-3-3 on the season with a .901 save percentage and 2.58 GAA. Considering the recent struggles of Kuemper, it's possible Backstrom could see some more starts in the near-future. The 36-year-old makes for a decent fantasy option whenever he gets the call in the crease.
