While his recent point streak came to an end, Backes continues to roll offensively - half of his goals and 19 of his 37 on the season have come since the calendar flipped to 2015. The production will flatten out, but Backes is back to being what his owners expected at the start of the year and should finish with 50-60 points and another 25 goal season under his belt.
