Barabanov suffered a lower-body injury during Sunday's preseason loss to the Ducks, but whatever forced him from that contest evidently wasn't overly serious. The 27-year-old winger began the 2020-21 campaign with Toronto, picking up one helper in 13 contests before being traded to the Sharks in April, where he racked up three goals and seven points in just nine games. Barabanov will likely be a fixture in San Jose's middle six in 2021-22.
