Pezzetta had an assist on two shots, five hits and four PIM in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Pezzetta did the heavy lifting on the Canadiens' first goal. He went hard to the cage, retrieved a rebound behind the net and backhanded a pass to a wide-open Lukas Vejdemo who gave the visitors a 1-0 lead. The point snapped an 11-game drought for Pezzetta, who has been up with Montreal since early November, primarily skating on the fourth line. Pezzetta should stick around for the team's next two scheduled games, road contests Thursday against the Hurricanes and Saturday against the Panthers. Beyond that, several home games have been postponed, and the Habs will resume play Jan. 12 in Boston.
