Doan had a sterling start to his NHL career, scoring five goals and picking up four assists in 11 games despite averaging only 12:19 of ice time. Doan led the Roadrunners with 26 goals and 46 points in 62 games. He will get some valuable playoff experience in the AHL following the demotion.
