Hanley skated on a pairing with Andrej Sekera, which could stick through training camp as the Stars' third pairing on Opening Night. The 30-year-old Hanley had career highs in points (eight) and games played (35) last year, but he's unlikely to be more than a rotational option on the blue line after the Stars signed Ryan Suter in free agency.
