Caufield will have two opportunities to get into a preseason game before the season opener against the Maple Leafs on Oct. 13. The 20-year-old winger is considered a favorite for the Calder Trophy heading into the upcoming season and should be capable of challenging for the 40-50 point threshold after generating five points in 10 regular-season contests last year.
