Anttii Niemi was pulled in the first period after allowing three goals on seven shots in the Nashville Predators' 6-2 rout of the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night. Niemi has struggled mightily this month, giving up 26 goals on 213 shots against for a 3.60 goals-against average and .878 save percentage. Thomas Greiss was only slightly better, making 11 saves on 13 shots. In such a tightly-packed race in the Western Conference, the Sharks need their No. 1 to find his game. They're just three points above the cutoff and fading fast thanks to only four wins the entire month of February.
