Antti Niemi, who was severely criticized by coach Todd McLellan after his awful performance Thursday, is back in goal against Detroit Sunday afternoon. He has already allowed a goal on eight shots as the Sharks trail the wings 1-0 after the first period. This is a big start for Niemi. He will have to play well to regain his coaches confidence. That said, he is not off to an exceptionally good start.
