Antti Niemi went home with the win Thursday night even after allowing four goals in the San Jose Sharks' 5-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche. Niemi wasn't good -- it was quite possibly his worst outing of the season and first time allowing four goals since Nov. 5 -- but for once, his offense was able to bail him out. The veteran keeper allowed two goals on 11 shots in the first period, then gave up two more on nine in the second. It was his first win since Dec. 8, and his record improved to 12-6-3 while his goals-against average ticked up to 2.41 and save percentage dropped to .916.
