Antti Niemi turned aside all 34 Blackhawks shots in a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Niemi has allowed just six goals over his last five games. This was also the third straight start that Niemi made 30 or more saves. He had a 2.38 GAA and .920 save percentage in 60 starts last season and he should put up similar numbers in 2011-12.
