Antti Niemi made 33 saves in San Jose's 2-1 loss in the shootout to the Red Wings on Thursday night. The Sharks finished the month with just a 2-6-4 record, so while they cooled, Niemi certainly hasn't. The netminder has been brilliant this season with a 1.88 goals-against average and .933 save percentage, marks that are easily within the top 10 in the NHL. Now, if only he could get more support from his friends.
