Antti Niemi made 31 saves in the 4-3 OT loss to the Nashville Predators. Niemi has had another shaky start like he did last season, though this start isn't nearly as bad. He is a solid netminder, as his Stanley Cup ring indicates, just give him some time. It took until the new year for the Finnish netminder to hit his stride, but Sharks fans are hoping for results a lot sooner than that from their starter.
