Antti Niemi made 24 saves in the San Jose Sharks 5-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The Sharks have plummeted down a cliff since starting 7-0. Aside from Joe Thornton, only other player on the team that has offered any form of consistency is Niemi. He has always had to battle bad critics for being some what erractic in the net and not being as technical as most goalies. Despite that, he has a 2.30 goals against average and 0.920 save percentage, once again making him one of the top goalies in the NHL.
