Antti Niemi is scheduled to get the start on Sunday when the Sharks take on the Chicago Blackhawks. Niemi won the Stanley Cup while tending goal for Chicago in the 2010 playoffs but the Blackhawks could not afford his salary and he was released. He signed with the Sharks during the 2010 off-season and has not looked back since as he has been a top-five NHL goaltender over the last four seasons. Niemi is 10-2-5 this season with a 2.13 GAA and a .918 save percentage. Since leaving Chicago, he is 5-5-1 with a 2.84 GAA and a .915 save percentage against the Blackhawks, losing all three games last season.
