When you're humming along with five straight wins in which you've allowed six goals, a performance like this is excusable. It's a bit of a shame for the Sharks, though, as they greatly outplayed the Vancouver, getting 45 shots on net. Niemi is 9-3-1 with a 2.37 goals-against average and .921 save percentage on the year.
