Antti Niemi gave a good effort but it wasn't enough as the San Jose Sharks lost to the Los Angeles Kings 5-2. Niemi kept the Sharks in the game while they were getting dominated at times, but allowing a Dustin Penner goal had to hurt. He's fallen apart with the team through what have been tough time for more or less all of 2012 so far.
