Antti Niemi defended 25 of 26 shots in a 2-1 victory over St. Louis Tuesday night. The win snapped a five-game winless skid (0-2-3) for the Sharks netminder. Niemi has been outstanding this season despite having to wait awhile for his seventh victory. He presently owns a 7-2-3 record with a .933 save percentage and a 1.86 GAA.
