Antti Niemi (cyst) is questionable at best for the Sharks opening game on Saturday. Niemi skated on Thursday but missed practice the previous day. The Sharks do not play again until next Friday so it seems that to give Niemi the extra time, makes the mmost sense. If he is unable to go, Thomas Greiss will get the start in net for San Jose. Stay tuned as a decision will be made on Friday.
