Anton Volchenkov (hand) has been placed on New Jersey's injured reserve list. He wasn't expected to play on Monday or Tuesday night and Cam Janssen is ready to return so the roster move was moved. Volchenkov aggravated his previously injured hand in Thursday's game against Ottawa. If he is ready by Friday then he is eligible to be activated.
