Anton Volchenkov (flu) took part in the Devils' practice on Monday. Volchenkov didn't play in New Jersey's season finale, but we'd be surprised if he ended up missing Game 1 of their first round series. He is projected to serve on the third defensive pairing with Peter Harrold.
