Antero Niittymaki has been reassigned to the minors. The Sharks made the move in order to bring up Tyson Sexsmith from AHL Worcester. Sexsmith will back up Thomas Greiss on Thursday because Antti Niemi has been ruled out of the contest due to an undisclosed injury.
