Andy Sutton was unable to play on Thursday with a groin injury. Sutton took the pre-game skate but then decided he wasn't well enough to go, leaving the Oilers with only five defensemen. It got worse in the third period when Corey Potter was forced to leave the game with a sprained ankle. Sutton apparently re-aggravated an old groin injury so it is unknown when he will return.
