Andrew Shaw has done a great job of filling in for the injured Daniel Carcillo. Shaw has four goals and five penalty minutes in seven games. "When you look at what Shaw is capable of doing . he can bring energy to his line and our team," coach Joel Quenneville said. "He's smart as far as how he plays the game. He's got a pretty good awareness on the timing of (agitating). That goes along with his skills and overall thought process for the game." Quenneville has given Shaw a chance to play on the Blackhawks' second line, and he might end up holding that position indefinitely, given that Carcillo is out for the season. Although he has managed to stay out of the sin bin in six of his first seven NHL games, Shaw should be looked at as a guy who will give you a healthy amount of PIM while chipping in a bit offensively.
