Andrew Cogliano played in his 500th consecutive game on Tuesday. Cogliano celebrated by scoring a shorthanded goal, his 11th marker of the season. Cogliano becomes only the fifth player to play in 500 straight games to start his NHL career, joining Murray Murdoch (508), Andy Hebenton (630), Doug Jarvis (964) and Bill Harris (576).
