Andrew Cogliano is looking forward to playing for the Ducks. Edmonton sent Cogliano to Anaheim in exchange for a second round pick in the 2013 NHL entry draft. "This is obviously the first time I've been traded," Cogliano, who has been with Edmonton since he was drafted in 2005, said. "I'm excited. There's mixed emotions originally right away. I was just on my way to skate and [Oilers GM] Steve Tambellini called me and let me know. I'm excited I'm coming to a team that played in the playoffs and has great players and continually has great seasons. I think that's the ultimate goal. I want to be on a winning team and contribute." Cogliano has yet to participate in a playoff game, but that could change in 2011-12. However, he needs to sign a new contract first. Cogliano is a restricted free agent and he has an arbitration hearing scheduled for July 21st.
