Andrej Meszaros has been traded to the Boston Bruins in exchange for a third-round pick. The Bruins were in the market for a veteran defenseman and they have found one in Meszaros. He has five goals and 17 points in 38 games with the Flyers. Boston wanted to add some depth with Dennis Seidenberg out for the season and Adam McQuaid ailing with a core injury.
