Andrei Markov had a minus-3 rating in Montreal's 6-5 shootout win over Boston on Wednesday night. He and Alexei Emelin were on the ice for all four of the Bruins' even-strength goals. However, Markov came up big on Montreal's power play very late in the third period when he scored the game-tying goal to send the contest into overtime. Markov has been churning out points fairly regularly this season, but the goal was his first since Feb. 25. He has 12 points in his last 15 games.
