Anderson stopped 28 of 29 shots through 65 minutes Thursday, then three more in the shootout for a 2-1 road win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Drew Stafford got him on a first-period power play, but Anderson was perfect from there on out, taking away a huge win in a game with major playoff implications. The Sens are now a point up on the Bruins, and they have two games left to Boston's one, so they're in great shape. This weekend brings back-to-back games against both New York teams -- a Rangers squad that's taking it easy en route to the playoffs and an Islanders team that's lost John Tavares for the year. If necessary, it's quite conceivable that Anderson will be in net for both, but the Sens would surely prefer him to get some rest ahead of their postseason run.
