Anderson scored the first goal of his NHL career Saturday in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is getting limited ice time on a lower line, the same role he plays in the AHL. But he does have decent hands and he punishes opposing players with hard hits. Anderson plays the game like a quarter horse with a burr under his saddle pad and that in-your-face abrasiveness frustrates opponents. Fantasy-wise, he's not long for the NHL -- he'll be back down to the AHL soon enough. And even then, Anderson is being groomed as a bottom-six energy guy and there's limited fantasy value in that.
