Andersen (upper body) is expected to join the Ducks on their road trip that begins Sunday in Dallas, Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times reports. That would seem to suggest that Andersen won't be ready to go for Friday's home date with the Kings, but in any case, it's clear the goalie is closing in on a return. He's been able to face shots the last couple of days and has noted that he's no longer experiencing much pain. After a couple more days to get back up to game speed, Andersen could be activated from IR and start one or both of the games on the road trip.
