Allen was torched for four goals on 17 shots before getting pulled in a 7-4 loss to the Flames on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen got the hook midway through the second period after giving up two goals at even strength, one on the power play, and one while shorthanded. The 25-year-old had been marvelous heading into Monday's road date with Calgary, having rattled off six straight victories -- the last three of which came against some of the Western Conference's very best in Dallas, Anaheim and Chicago. With a 2.35 GAA and .920 save percentage, owners can safely count on the 24-14-3 Allen to bounce back and continue to provide solid numbers in the final 11 games of the season, especially with fellow netminder Brian Elliott (lower body) still sidelined.
