The Blues have even gone so far as to invite Martin Brodeur to practice with the team this week, which suggests a reluctance on their part to rely on Allen as their full-time starting netminder. Allen may get another start Saturday against Nashville, but the outlook is cloudy beyond that, as Brodeur may wind up entering the picture as soon as next week. Fantasy owners should make sure they have a backup option at the ready, just in case Allen winds up on the bench.
