Allen had been on a four-game winning streak prior to Thursday, but has also given up 10 goals over his last three games, finishing with a sub-.900 save mark in each. Nonetheless, he remains one of the league's finer backups and has been seeing a sufficiently reasonable amount of use to be worthy of owning in deeper leagues.
