Alex Tanguay's five-year contract includes a limited no-trade clause. Tanguay is required to submit a list of 10 teams he would be willing to be traded to every year. "For me, term was really important," Tanguay said. "I was looking for stability for my family. Definitely five years was a little bit beyond my expectations, but sometimes you have to find ways to make deals work." He will come with a $3.5 million annual cap hit, which isn't bad for a player that scored 22 goals and 69 points last season. He works well with Jarome Iginla, which should help him surpass the 60-point marker again next season.
