Alex Tanguay scored the lone goal for Calgary as they fell 2-1 to Buffalo on Friday. Tanguay scored his third goal of the season in defeat. The Flames did not have many great scoring chances despite recording 30 shots. They did have a few flurries that ended in crossbars and posts but alas only Tanguay got one by Jhonas Enroth. Jay Bouwmeester and Matt Stajan picked up assists on the goal.
