Alex Tanguay is just four assists away from reaching the 500 mark. Tanguay is on track to become the 126th member of the 500-assist club. The milestone isn't particularly important to Tanguay though. "Not a whole lot," he said, when asked how much it would mean to him. "A milestone? Yeah, I guess. But I'm not thinking about it or anything like that. To me, a real milestone is like 1,000 points." He's 268 points away from 1,000, so that's still going to take him several more season's to reach.
