Alex Killorn was apologetic after hitting Toronto's Paul Ranger from behind during Wednesday night's win. He reached out to Ranger and sent him a voice message after the Leafs defenseman left the ice on a stretcher. "I'm happy that he is OK, I heard through the (Toronto public relations staff) and stuff that he is doing all right now," Killorn said. "It's kind of a scary moment, one of those plays where I commit to hit someone without knowing if they are going to turn, so it's just an unfortunate play." The Tampa Bay forward was assessed 15 minutes in penalties and he was ejected from the game as a result of the play.
