Alex Galchenyuk (knee) was back in Montreal's lineup for Game 2 against the New York Rangers. In his first game action since April 9th, he posted two shots, a penalty for tripping and a minus-1 rating in 13:23 of ice time. Galchenyuk replaced Michael Bournival, who sat as a healthy scratch, on the second line with Tomas Plekanec and Thomas Vanek in the contest.
