Alex Galchenyuk has been cleared for contact. He has been out of action since early January with a broken right hand but he was able to particiapte fully in the Canadiens' practice Friday. It is still not clear if Galchenyuk will suit up against the Red Wings on Wednesday when NHL play resumes.
